Student´s name : López Gil, David

Title of the paper : A Poison Tree”, Social and religious hypocrisy as an unstoppable plague

Author or topic : Blake, William

Abstract : William Blake’s “A Poison Tree” shows us the danger of repressing our feelings, and how important is for human beings to be sincere in order to stop our wrath from growing until it is too late. The key to maintain and improve our relationships is to be honest not just with our friends, but with our enemies too. We must avoid arriving to the point where we only see vengeance as a solution. Blake’s poem also makes us think about the basis of Christianity, showing us how contradictory Christian principles can be.

Auto-evaluation: Although I did not put enough effort to do the paper I published on the first deadline, this time I had enough time to make a better research on the poem and to correct the several mistakes I had. Given the work and time I have devoted to it I think I deserve a 6/10 mark.
