I have centred my resesearch in Lewis Carroll. English novelist, especially remembered for Alice's Adventures ir' Wonderland (1865). I consider this novel as an important work ir' Children's literature. It is a comparatively recent phenomenon, having emerged as a distinct and independent form only in tbe second hall of file 18^th century.

The main point 1 I'm going to study is a Formalist Criticisrn; this is file style of file book, file language... The formalists analize the text as a complex unity in which all the parts contribute to a rich and resonant effect. They placed an 'emphasis on tile medium' by aralyzing file way in which literature, was able to alter artistically or 'rnake strange' common language.They stressed the importance of form and technique over content.
