Harvey
Cheyne is the principal character in
this novel. He represent the over-indulged son of a millionaire. Harvey
and his family are in a ocean liner when suddenly Harvey falls oeverboard
but he has good luck and he is rescued by a portuguese fisherman. In the
initial time, he doesn´t want to work and cooperate with the
other people in the new boat and only he will speak about his father´s
money, a lot of it. Later, after receiving a hit in his face by the
boss he will accept his chores as another fisherman in the boat which is
called the We´re Here. Harvey will live an exciting
adventure into the see with professional people of the fish and he will
learn a lot and he will become a good fisherman. Finally Harvey will love
this entirely alien environment in which was thrown and he will meet with
his parents who were very surprise and happy for his son that thought was
died in the deeper sea.
