     Past time have a strong influence on literature. The culture and beliefs of past periods of the history are always present because our culture and beliefs are based upon them, came from the past.
     So, I would like to make an approach to the twentieth century through medieval tradition. I am going to focus my work on how the aspects of the medieval period are reflected in the literature of the twentieth century. Especially those related to philosophy and Christianity; in other words, those aspects which constitute the moral guide of people at that time.
     An essential authour is C.S.Lewis, who was very interested in the medieval universe and its philosophy. Through his works I hope to find a new vision of the medieval work.
