Abstract or summary of the research in not more than 100 to max. 150 words:

    In this work I am going to refer to the literary line of Jane Austen, whose witty fiction announces the transiton from the Neoclassicism of the 17th century to the Romanticism of the 19th century in English Literature.
    I will try to explain her work from her beginning, 1790 (first works published in her book "Love and Friendship") and other from 1922.
    She only wrote six novels, which are clasified in two different periods, the first, from 1796 to 1798, and the second one which started in 1811.
    Finally I will mention many incompleted novels and her letters which were published after her death.
