PERSONAL OPINION ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My first contact with Kazuo Ishiguro´s works was reading "The remains of the day".

First I saw the screen version played by Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins, a very good version in my opinion.

Then I decided to buy the book, I was interested in check if it was as good as the film seemed to me, or just the director picked up some things from the work and said "based on...".

The reading of this book opened me to a new literary world, the world of Japanese Writers, that have not been well promoted in this country.

I think Ishiguro is a sensitive, calm, beautiful writer that expresses his point of view about human relationships in his works.
