1872à published the first of his horror stories in the magazine Shamrock. It was called The Crystal Cup and was published by 'The London Society'

1876à left Ireland to go to England and work as Henry Irving’s secretary and representantative

1878à married Florence Balcombe.

1879à he publishes The Duties of Clerks of Petty Sessions in Ireland

1881à his first compilation of short stories is published: Under the Sunset

1886à A Glimpse of America is published

1890à published his first novel, The Snake's Pass

1895à wrote The Watter's Mou' and The Shoulder of Shasta

1897à Dracula is first published

1898à writes Miss Betty

1902à The Mystery of the Sea is published

1903à The Jewel of Seven Stars is published

1905à he writes The Man also known as The Gates of Life

1906à he publishes his Personal Reminiscences of Henry Irving

1908à Lady Athlyne and Snowbound: The Record of a Theatrical Touring Party are published

1909à The Lady of the Shroud is published

1910à writes Famous Impostors

1911à Lair of the White Worm is published

1912à dies of sifilis on April the 20th

1914à Dracula's Guest is published by his wife, Florencia Stoker
