Abstract : In this website, we can find a selection of some of the most important poets in English Language during 19 th and 20 th Centuries. These authors belong to different periods of English Poetry such as Romanticism, Victorianism or Modernism among others. Selecting the authors you can find the analysis and commentary of some of their poems. On the bottom of this page we can find a link with the resources I have used for the ten short essays.
Auto-evaluation: I have made a big effort doing these essays because I consider poetry in general and English poetry in particular quite difficult to understand, but in spite of its complexity I have learnt a lot on the subject, so I think that it could be fair if I get a mark of 7.
