Abstract :
In
this paper I have worked about Michel Foucault, a philosopher, sociologist and
historian who influenced the humanistic sciences in Occident.
I
have gathered some biographies and some articles written about Foucault.
His
ontology deals with the social essence, he talks about madness, illness,
sexuality, literature and humanistic sciences, but his principal objects of
study were language and history.
He attempted to prove that there are not fixed ideas because societies
are always changing. He wanted to show people that the truths which have been
considered correct in the course of history can be now wrong, and, because of
that, they can be criticized and destroyed.
