Childhood illness as the germ

This maybe the revelation that has less importance, however because of the originallity of his germ and his personal interest, I have decided to included it among the most important ones, although it seems to me that it wont be too true.
It seems that Stoker´s chidhood was like a sick-boy (he past the first seven years of his life in bed) needed of the continuous attention, what made him develop a tremendous fear towards his own illness. Consecuently this sickness became a unpleasent infantil experience. Well, parting from this base, many scholars have wanted to see the germ of what later would become his best known novel. This part of the possibility that because of his illness, Stoker as a child had to be put into hospital for his own good and health. From this speculation an enormous amount of interpretations in which the boy would be the representation of Harker´s character sent to the enigmatic castle (the hospital) have been withdrawn in which some nurses (the vampiress) extracted blood, where besides a doctor (Dracula) would be the main couse of numerous bleedings of which he must have been victim becoming the pervers monster of his childhood trauma; of course the vampire´s bite would be the representation for the child of the shot of a shiring. Moreover the same way the child was given by Dracula to the vampiress, like his mother had abandoned Stoker defensless at hospital.
Although it may be not to possible, I repeat that it isn´t at all curious the elaboration of this theory and if to this we add that Stoker when he was small that he heard during his illness many fantastic tales and weird stories uttered by his mother. Who knows if his wicked novel was began during this years? I would not deny saying the opposite.
