Abstract : My work consist of the analysis of the British author, named Julian Barnes, who was born in Leicester, England, in 1946. This analysis is formed in a linear or in a non-linear way, which allows you to create your own pathways. The features included in this topic insist on his biography (where I have appended the most significant and large biographies about his life and his career, consisting in four pages), his books (consisting in two pages) where I inserted an extract of ´´Nothing to Be Frightened Of´´, and also on the articles written about the author consisting in eleven pages. In the end I just wanted to include some of his remarkable quotes , about two pages. Relating to my selection towards this author is that I became aware of his reflection on mortality and the fear of death, related, as well, in his book ´´Nothing To Be Frightened Of´´, which is why I have chosen this author. I hope you will enjoy this paper and find it useful.
