Lic. Lucas Monzani is both Clinical psychologist an Erasmus Mundus Master in Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology.

Furthermore, Lucas Monzani is a pre-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Organizational Development and Quality of Work Life, (IDOCAL) at the University of Valencia (Spain), where he combines his psychological research activities with his professional practice.

His research interests are focused in advanced concepts in Organizational Behavior, such as new forms of Leadership, Distributed Adaptive Teams, and bridging Behavioral Economics, Neuropsychology with Organizational Behavior.

has worked in both the private and public sector in the fields of Leadership & Coaching, Recruitment, E-learning and Team Training.

Research & Academic Activity:

1. PhD in Psychology of Human Resources

Directed by Prof. Pilar Ripoll and José María Peiró Silla . This program received the Excellence award for doctoral programs from the Spanish Ministry of Education:  MEE2011-0276 - PROGRAMA OFICIAL DE DOCTORADO EN PSICOLOGÍA DE LOS RECURSOS HUMANOS.
2. Updating global leadership


This research project was founded by a grant for joint-research with the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations (CLBO) at Goethe University Frankfurt for the period March-May 2012. ECD/3628/2011 available at BOE-A-2012-680. 3. Handling negative emotions at the work-place – A gender perspective


Under the coordination of Prof. Abraham Buunk from Groningen University (Netherlands), we explore negative emotional responses on female participants and their relation to their intra-sexual competition levels, self-esteem and affective outcomes.
4. Nexus Sustainable Research


Inter-disciplinary independent research, which focus its Research interests in bridging different disciplines (such as neurophysiology, applied psychology and economic behavior) to further expand and explain the determinants of individual and group economic behavior.
