One morning Don Quixote left home with Rocinante. It was Friday. Nobody saw them.
But he had a problem, he was not a knight.
“Oh, princess Dulcinea..!” said Don Quixote.
He was tired. He found an inn and he thought it was a castle.
He saw a swineherd and he thought it was a dwarf announcing his arrival.
The girls laught because Don Quixote called them maidens, and he got irritated.
They laid the table for him. He had dinner with his helmet on.
He ate fish for dinner. He thought that the stockfish was trout, and that the bread was white, when it really was black and mouldy.
Don Quixote was convinced that he was in some famous castle.
But there was a problem, he had not been dubbed a knight.
