
Marx moved into journalism and,in October 1842,became editor,in Cologne( finished to found by the liberal promen of Renania),of the influential Rheinische Zeitung. But the following year he resigned to his position to go to Paris, where it continued his studies, he collaborated in the ephemeral Deutsch-Französische Jahrbücher and knew Friedrich Engels, with whom united a great friendship that was to last the whole life and with who would collaborate later in several works.
Expelled from Paris in 1845 to requirement of the Prussian government, it looked for refuge in Belgium, where, in answer to the Philosophie de la mis_re of P.J Proudhon, he wrote Mis_re de la philosophie.In Brussels wrote up with Engels the Manifest to der kommunistischen Partei (the famous Communist Manifesto, 1848) for the Association of Workers of Germany, well-known later by " Communist League".En 1848, animated by the revolutionary ferment that shook Germany, he returned to Cologne, where he published during a year the Neue Rheinische Zeitung.
He emigrated to France and in vain tried to fix its residence in Paris and emigrated finally to London, where he lived the rest of his life.In London he failed trying to revive the Communist League,collaborated with leaders of Cartism and accomplished studies of economic questions and politic economy.In 1859 published their Zur Kritik to der politischen Oekonomia and, in 1867, the first volume of DAS Kapital.
After collaborating in the foundation
of the International Association of Workers(1864) he retired definitively
to the private life to write up doctrinal programs to the French and German
Socialists and to accumulate material for the continuation of DAS Kapital.Karl
Marx died in 1883 and was buried in the famous London cemetery of Highgate.
