     Abstract : I am going to show the different aspects of John Stuart Mill biography and his work, which has
      been largely studied, so for my paper I have tried to explain one famous book on liberty, and especially I
      will speak deeply about the chapters IV and V. More over, I will show some resources of his work
      Utilitarism, one of the most important books of the 19th century.

      The way in which I will obtained the information to develop this page is, on the one hand, from materials
      available on different libraries and, on the other hand, by means of Internet. So I will publish my work in
      English when I speak about general aspects founded in Internet, but when I centre in works elaborated by
      me (chronology, chapters of On liberty...) I will work in Catalan.
