Space
In
the hypertext the characters appears in different places where the story takes
place. It is a bit difficult speak about these places because the author does
not give any description about them, she only mention it. The hypertext is
divided in two kind of places; the first one are the important, where the
characters are involved in a proper space and the others are just a reference
of space that appears in the story.
The
story starts in Sara´s house, where she and her husband, Arthur, live
together on a messy but happy way. They wonder about if one day they really
will change their behaviour. There is not description about the house, only the
way they live.
The
next space that appears in the story is the mall, where Sara and Rachel spend
one Saturday night, it is exactly there, where they have an interesting conversation
about prostitution. The description that we found about this place is the large
lemonade at the hot dog on a stick stand that Sara bought, anything else about
it.
An
important space of this story is the computer awards ceremony in a former Fed
Ex weighing station. This is because all the characters are together in this
place having a dinner and speaking about different things of their lives. Here
we have a small description of food; sushi on original flavour Doritos, but
nothing about the place.
Finally,
appears the last place ; Rachel´s house, where we found that she and Ned were
in the process of moving that day and Sara arrived there to help them. There
describes that they were carrying boxes of books and board games and chipped
coffee tables and adapter cables out to the street. Any description of the
Rachel´s house.
Others
references of space that appears in the hypertext are;
in
front of their own computers
a
restaurant that had a room in the back for beds
a coffee house on the way back
