The Grimm Tale

             El Tiempo

Along the story we are given some tracks to discover the time that passes although I must say that the tracks are rather few and sometimes if you are not very attentive may pass unnoticed.

As it  happened with the space the author didn’t deal with details very much so everything related with time in here it’s what I deduced from the text.

The references that the author gives us it’s the time between night and day and the three days that the main character passes in the castle of the king.

Taking into account that, we can say that the time  that passes between he leaves home and marries is about one month or two but if we look closer when the main character is in the castle and            sees the body of his cousin in the coffin says that it only passed a couple of days, which may lead us t a confusion, but if we look closer we will notice that it’s impossible to do all that our main character did in only a couple of days.

In this text we don’ts know if it’s summer , autumn or something else.or where the sorry is situated.

Despite everything the author tells us about the existence of a king, who lives in a castle so we may say that we are close to the time of the feudalism. We almost can assure that because of the existence of the king, the castle, the hanged corps and the pubs. It’s not very common in the feudalism to a commoner to marry a princess but in all the stories if the commoner does something heroic the king permits to the commoner to marry his daughter.

Regretfully the author only focus herself in the dialogues and in the action and not in the description of the time and spaces.

Finally I can say that despite all the trouble found in this text that the time I had chosen is a good one.
