 It is the link for the access to the page http: // www.eastgate.com, "...the primary source for serious hypertext".  It is a very meaningful icon, since the etymology of the name is represented through this picture. In addition we can see that this one isn't a common gate, it belongs to a wall.

Then, we observe a very peculiar combination between the historical romanticism and the new technologies. We might say that the use of this picture is a resort for showing the reliability and the safety from the page, some typical properties of the walls.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 This bar is a spectrum which contains twelve lines or threads. Every thread represents a fragment of every history. There are eight bars into the hypertext.

As we can observe, the kind of letter used in the text is Times New Roman, size 12, Occidental. We are speaking about a blue colour letter (the same colour from the bottom), but with different tonality. The above mentioned contrast makes that the letters stand out and there is produced a visual showy effect.

The subgrated phrases possess links that they lead to the following fragment of the history. Their image disappears after the first click, nevertheless, they continue existing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This kind of images appear when the story comes to its end and they appear as a representative icon for the argument.
