Abstract
: The poem
that I’ve chosen
for this first paper is “Epitaph to a dog”, the author expresses his sadness
for the death of his dog. This dog was a Newfoundland dog, named Boatswain, this dog would have a bigger tomb than his own
master. I’ve found many different rhetorical figures trying to emphasize the
text, critiquing Man for all his vices, etc… In it’s time,
this poem wouldn’t have many success but nowadays has became one of the most
famous poems to an animal.
Auto-evaluation: In my opinion I’ve worked very hard
to make the paper and the web, I’ve solved many problems that I didn’t know how
to solve before doing the web, and I think that I should have a 7.
