With through this paper, which title is not already settled, I will study different aspects in Joyce's work related to thoughts and ideology of the society of the beginning of the century. For instance, I will deal with the conception of that time with regards the individual and its relationship with society in the author's novels, and with other topics closely related to the one I have already mentioned, such as sexuality, religion and Freudian psychology.
