Cast:

   Manuel Hernández is Papá Ubú, Geman Segura is Mamá Ubú, Mario Estebán is Memnón, Monomonarca, Mandamás, and Nation, Emma Losa and Eloisa Azorín are Palotín, Nation, soldier, high office shared, judge and noble, Cristian Weidmann is Palotín, Concience and Nation, finally Leticia Ñeco and Ana Belén Lifante are tatana dancer and Arqueopterix.

Date and place of representation: from 9 to 27 Novemmber 2005 in the theatre L’Altre Espai.

Dramatis Personae:

   -Ubú: is the main character, he is a lier, an egoist, a thief, a murder, a betrayer… It is to say a tyrant.

-Mamá Ubú:  she is so despicable as Ubú, she try to used him for get what she wants.

-Memnon: is Mamá Ubú’s lover. Together plan how use Ubú and to have the power.

-Space:

    Stage was divided in three parts: forward, middle, and backward. It was very illuminated during all the play, less at beginning and at the ending.

 -Illumination:

 Stage was illuminated depending where actors are, with a strong light less at beginning when Ubú and Mamá Ubú are talking and at the ending when Ubú falls.

-Clothes and atrezzo:

   Clothes were contemporary, simple and real.

Decoration was simple; there were one or two objects, which were all needed objects.

-Atmosphere:

         Public was attentive but without to stop to laugh. At begins play every people are in silent, listening and perceiving all. Until amusement begun, then people laughed and laughed continually.

-Opinion:  

This play had been the funniest I had seen that shows "corruption of the power, the ambition, the despotism sexuality, the food, the scatological…a fantasy exercise about own nature of the human”, as we can see in http://www.muestrateatro.com/home.html#. With a character so strange, curious and you appreciate at the end. But  some difficult to understand completely.
