Cast:

   Tom is Luis Tosar, Amanda is Cristina Rota, Laura is María Botto and Jim is Juan Carlos Vellido.

Date and place of representation: from 13 to 18 December 2005 in the theatre Teatro Principal.

Dramatis Personae:

   -Tom: is the main character, he tells us his life with her mother Amanda and her sister Laura, how is, why, and how he would like was.  He is a fighter in life but he is tidy to life how his mother says him, he is tied to the life his mother creates. His mother values his opinion little; if he continues there it is for her sister.

-Amanda: mother’s Tom, she want to seem what she is not. She worry much for her son and her daughter, even to obsess her and she converts their lives in a nightmare, because she sees in their an opportunity for realize her dreams and go up in the social scale. This converts her in a egoist and controller person.

-Laura: is Amanda’s daughter and Tom’ sister. She is very depressing, without pride and self-esteem, for that she thinks herself an incapacitated for everything in the life. She lives in her world, in her small crystal zoo. She loves much her brother and she worry much for him.

-Jim: he is this something for which we live; he is the perfect candidate for Laura from point of view of Amanda, the love from Laura and the opportunity for goes out and to be free (Amanda says him that he will can goes when Laura has a man). He is neat and enterprising, besides the love of her life that she has been keeping in secret. He establishes the connexion possibility of this family with the exterior; evolution, changes are generating and will generate, the technological process…

-Space:

    Stage was divided in four parts.

             - First plane: is on the right of stage, there were stairs and a terrace or balcony.

             -Second plane: is on the forward at right of stage, there was a sofa, an armchair, a table with rolls, and the crystal zoo in front of all.

              -Third plane: is on the forward at left of stage, there were a bed and a gramophone.

     -Fourth plane: is on the backward of stage, there was a table for eating, four chairs, a photograph of the family father, the door to kitchen and emergency stairs.

 -Illumination:

 Stage was illuminated depending where actors are, for planes with a thin light.

-Clothes and atrezzo:

   Clothes were historical, simple and real.

Decoration was not simple; there were one many objects as I had said in point about the space. There were four chairs, a big table, a photograph, a sofa, an armchair, a small table, a bed, a gramophone, and the crystal zoo.

-Atmosphere:

         Public was attentive and quiet, waiting for spectacle. At begins play every people are in silent, listening and perceiving all. Until the end, where people exploited in applauses (the best moment without doubt). A pity this separation according to the money.

-Opinion:  

In my opinion is a good play that reflects how changes in society could affect a marginal family, how this should fight and try to continue in a society where they are victims to the development of a society that little worry for its people less advanced.
