Dramatis personae:

Papá Ubú: is a selfhish, cruel and grotesque person. He robs, kills, tortures, enslaves… Of his physical features I will say that he is a small and ugly man.

He moves fluency on stage, and he walks bent. His clothes are old. And his vocabulary is a little strange and it makes that audience laugh with it.

Mamá Ubú: she is the wife of Papá Ubú, and she has a lover. She is a thin and tall woman. She wears a red dress and black boots. And her hair is dishevelled.

Memnón: he is the lover of Mamá Ubú. He is a dark man. He wears a black mayot with a jacket. He seems to be a funny man.

Monomonarca: he is the monarch. He wears a white suit and a hat.

Soldier: is a girl (Emma López) who performs many characters, one of them is the soldier who wears a green suit. Other characters are a member of the political party, the judge of the nobles and she performs the people too.

Conscience: the character of the conscience is performed by a bald man, who only wears a nappy and sun glasses.

Dancer: is a girl who appears dancing at the end of the play. She wears a long skirt and a short shirt.

The space: the space is empty. There are changes on stage to put some objects such as a throne, a boxing ring, a wc, a wheel..

Illumination: there is little illumination. The characters were illuminated when they talked. The colour of the lights are yellow, green..

In a moment during the play, the lights illuminated all the theatre room.

Wardrobe: the clothes of the characters are old, dirty, poor, disastrous..

Atrezzo: the objects of the play is a wheel, a wc, a boxing ring, a throne, a flag, a fortune wheel, a watermelon..

Environment of the theatre: There is a very comfortable environment. It is a play with many touches of humour and that hooks the public. The vocabulary of the main character causes a pleasant environment.

Personal opinion:

I think that this play is a good critique of the politics given today in the world. With humour and irony it tells us a reality (the people continue losing), that hooks the public. In my opinion it is a good play that people must see.
