Abstract or summary:

 The aim of this work is to provide a wide vision of the influence of Henry James in literature, because he created a certain amount of revolutionary techniques, which convert him into turning points in this world. Secondly, as he lived in the USA as well as in Great Britain, we will be able to contrast both societies based on the vision he showed in some of his plays.

 Moreover the link between James' production and the influential industry of cinema is successful nowadays, as we see in adaptations such as "The portrait of a lady", "the wings of the dove" or "Washington Square", will give not only objective but subjective visions of James' universe, so that we will analyse different points of views of the author.
