Abstract : This page is a presentation of my poetry web page  where you can find the links needed to see and  know more about my papers which belong to this subject. The first paper is about William Blake, the romantic poet that I have chosen. In this paper you will find an analysis about one of his poem called "The Human Abstract" and other important topics related with both, the poem and the poet. In the comment of the poem you can find the analysis of its rhyme, the language used by the author, the idea or feeling that Blake wants to transmit us with his poem, and also we can know historical facts which are very interesting and important because affect in Blake’s style poetry.

First paper: Analysis on William Blake’s “Human abstract”

Auto-evaluation: I think that in this subject I have made a  big effort because I did not  know very much about English Poetry before and now, I don't know enough, of course, but in my opinion searching a lot of information to do the papers, reading the poems in class and by my own and the most important thing, going to the lesson everyday, I can say that I am enough familiarized with these authors, their poems and the historical facts that affect in their poetry and life.

I cannot decide what mark I am worthy of, but I hope that all this work in which I have spent a lot of time and I have tried to do my best  were considered and to be valued in a just and comprehensible way.
