SECOND PAPER

Abstract: This page is a presentation of my second paper which is about Gabriel Dante Rossetti and Christina Rossetti. I have chosen the most important poems of each one to try to comment the different representations that the woman has in their poems. “The Blessed Damozel” belongs to G.D Rossetti and “The Song” belongs to Christina Rossetti. In this paper, we have also talked about the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood, because is very influent defining the characteristics of this poets. Furthermore, we are made some references to the Rossetti’s work as painter. According to this, we have available links to see the picture at the same time that we read the poem and analyze it.

Second paper: Analysis of “The woman figure in the Rossetti brothers’ poetry”.

Auto-evaluation: I think that in this subject I have made a  big effort because I did not  know very much about English Poetry before and now, I don't know enough, of course, but in my opinion searching a lot of information to do the papers, reading the poems in class and by my own and the most important thing, going to the lesson everyday, I can say that I am enough familiarized with these authors, their poems and the historical facts that affect in their poetry and life.

I cannot decide what mark I am worthy of, but I hope that all this work in which I have spent a lot of time and I have also tried to do my best were considered and to be valued in a just and comprehensible way.
