In this work you will find some interesting information about Jane Austen’s life, which was very short as she died when she was 42 years old. You will find the main moments of her life and when she wrote her best works.

On the other hand you will be able to read a briefly summary about her best novels : ‘Pride and Prejudice’, ‘Sense and Sensibility’, 'Northanger Abbey', 'Persuasion', 'Emma' and 'Mansfield Park'.

Finally I will talk about, why most of women   prefered to be married than single in XVIII and XIX centuries, as this is a theme which you will find in her novels.
