TITLE OF THE PAPER: Shakespeare & Cervantes para los niños/ Shakespeare & Cervantes for children.

ABSTRACT OR SUMMARY:

El título de mi trabajo es Shakespeare & Cervantes para los niños, en el que podréis encontrar información a cerca de los autores Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra & William Shakespeare.

The title of my paper is Shakespeare & Cervantes fro children where you can find information about the authors Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra & William Shakespeare.

ABOUT THE TEXTS I HAVE CHOSEN:

- Miguel de Cervantes Sonnets: this is a facet I did not know about the Spanish author and I have chosen them, firstly, because I think that a sonnet written in Spanish is a very beautiful thing to read and, secondly, because I believe they are very representative of the Spanish Golden Age.

I have also chosen the first paragraph of Don Quixote in both Spanish and English too because it is a very known one and maybe the most representative quotation from the Spanish author.

- De Shakespeare he elegido la escena del balcón de Romeo y Julieta porque aunque está demasiado oída es una de mis escenas favoritas de todos los dramas que he leído hasta el momento. Me parece exquisita su narración, el sentimiento que desprende el diálogo y hasta lo cursi que puede parecer me parece hermoso.

- Finalmenete, he elegido también de Shakespeare una de las escenas de Sueño de una noche de verano únicamente por cuestiones muy personales: fue una escena que representé cuando era pequeña en el colegio y me ha parecido interesante seleccionarla como una especie de recuerdo personal.

- Los links que he seleccionado están dirigidos a todo tipo de personas interesadas en estos dos autores, pero principalmente a los niños y, en algunos casos, a sus profesores.

The links are aimed at any kind of person who is interested in these writers, but mainly at children, and in some cases, at their school teachers.
