        THIS  IS  MY FIRST  PAPER  FOR  ENGLISH LITERATURE II
                                               (code  4789)

I  am going to work about  Lewis carrol , his biography, his life, his environment
(historical,literary,religious and social context)and how all these facors affect to his
works (literature sorrounded by social and political context)
The literary work of Lewis Carroll and  the contemporary art.
I will study the possibles relations between his most important and known work : Alice in wonderland  with otherworks in that time.
The style of these works, the game of words ;metaphors and ambiguities  ( for criticism the
victorian society and its situation : racism and victorian class prejudices) .
 Relation with other authors that make a critic of the society through the literary world   Children literature in thevictorian society,characteristics in common with other authors.
 (i.e Charles Dickens,Daniel Defoe)

                                Here in the work of literature  I  think  that  is  complete  but  there are points so importants  which are not as you can see  in other  colour but  I  have  not   had  so  much  time  for looking  for  it  but  I think that  all objectives that I put in the first paper are reached

I am going to work about the formalism criticism that appears in XXc.
I am going to study how the formalists want to create something new .They conceive the literary text as something
new where the word it is the most important concept so , to interpret the literary text without linguistic specificity.

The caracteristics are the use of new vocabulary, romantic language  ,finish with the past (simbolism)The art goesto meet with the public, the estetic function takes other point of view
In  poetry   the importance of the graphic sign « it is written for being seen »Ejembaum
In prose so difficulties at the time to read it (philosophical terms)
In narrative the most important is the end is developed quickly and the climax is at the end.
The more representant authors are Jakobson,Bathjin Borges etc ...
 

                                  In  this  work I have made  a brief view  of what is Formalism what I have changed that it is not in the first paper is that this work is focused on the Russian formalism I tried to do an introduction of Formalism in general but I was not able to find so much information.
