        With the development of the FERMAX ELECTRONICA MULTIPLEXED DIGITAL SYSTEM (M.D.S.) new world of possibilities in building automation is now open. The integration of the different communication and security systems covering general and individual needs of modern condominiums is now easier than ever. The four areas covered by the M.D.S. network are:

      The main advantage of this network consists in its bus installation.
 

  1. MAIN ENTRANCE  
 

ENTRANCE PANELS
Three different panels available:
a. MDS-DIGITAL with built in Directory [from 160 to 10.000 users).*
b. MDS-DIRECT with LIST DIRECTORY {from 60 to 160 users).*
c. MDS-CITY with push buttons (up to 60 users). *
Four differentcolours available:
Gold, Silver, Brass and White
Speech message:
"Door is open, please close the door behind you".

MDS-DIGITAL:
Follow display instructions.
Search name in display and press call **
Press red button to call guard.
MDS-DIRECT:
Find tenant name in LIST DIRECTORY enter call number and press call. * *
MDS-CITY:
Find tenant name in panel and press its individual push xbutton (Recommended for Sub-entrances, individual floors or small buildings)

ACCESS CONTROL
Tenants dial a secret code to open the door (MDS-DIGITAL & MDS-DIRECT).
Proximity card button key and R.F. access control for MDS-DIGITAL only.

B. FERMAX A.D.S. (AUDIO DATA SYSTEM)

 

      The FERMAX ADS is the simplest system in the world, not only due to its installation but mainly due to its programming facililty

      Wiring:
For Video installations, 3 x 1 mm2+ 75 n coax, (Ref. 591 g) or 2 x 1 mrn + 75 Q coax using the coax screen as a (-) negative common.
For Audio installation (telephones) 3 x 1 man wires are needed. The ADS has been specially designed to simplify the installationo nproyects needing one/two entrances and one guard unit.

      Four step programming:
1st -Connect the monitor / telephone.
2nd-Place programing jumper on ON position (PRG).
3rd -Press-Dial (City / Direct) door number.
4th -Replace PRO jumper to its original position and replace monitor / telephone handset.

 
 

      To furthersimplify the ADS System,two choices are given when deciding on the call procedure:

1° Universal ADS-Direct call panel.
A keypad is provided to dial door nº, press to call. Choose any of the accessories available.
Voice message is a standard feature " Please close the door behind you", when the door has been opened.

2° ADS-City call panels.

Choose the required panel from City Line series 1 to 9 adding a 5 to the Ref. no and 30 $ to the listed price. Do not forget to order call extensions and surface or flush boxes as needed.

ADS MONITORS FEATURES
Total privacy (only the monitor called can speak and open the door).
1 st Auto start up: You can start the monitor at your convenience. If a conversation is being held, picture will be provided but no speech or open facilities will be available. I
2nd Start up: For second camera / entrance.
Two selectionable tone calls (jumper).
Optional Bell Kit. To be placed inside the terminal and receive calls from apartment door (Buzzer sound).
ADS Guard monitor has same features as ADS Basic Monitor with two extra buttons on the telephone handset, one to call the guard the second for extra funtions.
