Esperando a Godot WORK
IN TWO ACTS In the original french, piéce en
deux acfes; in the english editions, a Tragicomedy in two acts. How
everybody know, Samuel Beckett published first the work in french; this
text, like the english version realized by the proper author, it has sufferd
during the time numerous and successives alterations. The first french version of En
attendant Godot was published by Les Éditions de Minuit, París, in
September of 1952 (2.a ed., 1956; 3.aed., 1970). The american version of Waiting
for Godot was published by Grove Press, New York, in 1954. The
first english version of Waiting for Godot was published by Faber and
Faber, London, in 1956 (2.a ed., 1965). En attendant Godot was opened the 5th of January of 1953 in the
Théatre Babylone, of Paris, behind the direction of Roger Blm and the scenes

Britain of Waiting for Godot took place in the Arts Théatre, of
Londres, the 3rd of august of 1955. The direction was in charge of
