Abstract : Written by the hypertext artist and poet Judy Malloy, famous for her works on Internet and electronic literature, this poem talks of the life and experiences of an invented “persona”, whose imagined writings are published in what I have downloaded. This “persona” has an existence outwith the reality of the author. The predominant aspect analysed is that of time which is essential to the comprehension of the text.

 

 

 

 

Auto-evaluation: This analysis deserves a 6. I have done additional research into geographical locations, important for the time aspect, investigated the values of 40’s to 90’s America and carefully studied the monograph on the poem.
I have tried to extract the maximum of meaning with an exercise of my imagination.
