1) hypertext
El hipertexto es una tecnología que organiza
una base de información en bloques distintos de contenidos, conectados
a través de una serie de enlaces cuya activación o selección
provoca la recuperación de información. Ha sido definido
como un enfoque para manejar y organizar información, en el
cual los datos se almacenan en una red de nodos conectados por enlaces.
Según [Landow et al, 1991], el hipertexto es una forma distinta
de literatura; definen hipertexto "como el uso del computador que trasciende
la linearidad, límites y calidad fija de la tradicional forma de
escritura de texto".

Definition: When you are on a Web page and you see
the blue, often underlined text, that makes the cursor from your mouse
change shape, that is a link. If you click on a link it will take you to
another page or another site. You find information on the Internet by clicking
through to links you are interested in.
There are three main types of links that you may be interested in using
when designing your Web page: links that take you to another place on the
same page (as in an index), links that take you to another site and links
that go to another page on your site. The codes for all three are done

El hipertexto se compone de múltiples fragmentos
o "páginas-pantallas", que llamaremos "lexias" (utilizando el término
propuesto por Barthes). Una lexia puede ser un trozo de texto pero, dada
la capacidad multimedial de las aplicaciones computacionales de hoy, también
puede ser un conjunto compuesto de texto, imagen (fija o video) y sonido,

5) interactivity
Interactivity has more to do with the interchange
of action and response than with speed per se. An interactive site would
be one in which some action of the user generates a response either from
another human being at the other end of the connection or with a program
residing on a computer.
