CONCLUSION

To conclude with this work I must say that the experience of reading a hypertext has been new for me and not easy. When reading a hypertext for the first time is very easy to get lost and to mislead things. I had to read it several times and each one of them I discovered a different page that I though did not exist before. It has been quite a chaos to work with it at the beginning but now I am proud of having get to read it completely and to enjoy it. I have been looking for other hypertexts of my classmates and I think it is a really interesting point in which I will continue reading. It is not the same to read a hypertext just by pleasure that have to study and analyse it, the way you read is different, you just attend to the plot, and wonder what will go after what you are reading now, whether you are reading it correctly or not… When I was dealing with the time of this text I have found it a little bit difficult because I am used to read lineal plays or works in which the plot is continuous and everything is understandable. Moreover “The Darkness of Summer” has not a clear time that can be followed, there is not any date, just a few references to day, morning…

From my point of view it has been a great experience to get to know hypertexts and I think I finally succeeded in doing my paper well. Definitely I think I have got hooked on hypertexts.
