Abstract: In this paper, which is the second one of this semester for the subject English Narrative, I have worked on the time of the hypertext “The Darkness of Summer”, written by Peter Howard. The author is “a hypertext pioneer and a sonnet demon” (Donald Hall). In his own website he even uses hypertext to describe himself with links to things with which he feels related to. The Darkness of Summer introduces the reader into different situations that at the end are quite related by the use of hypertexts, which made the reading different from a traditional point of view. There is also a conclusion at the end where all my impressions while reading this text and also about time are exposed.

Auto-evaluation:

 I have made a big effort to get to understand the hypertext and to avoid being confused while reading it. I have been working hard to do this paper although I know that things could be better done with much more time. I think my mark should be B.
