ARGUMENT
This story
called ﾒOn the birthday of the strangerﾓ is one of the Michael Joyceｫs
hypertext. As a hypertext it will be characterized by a non-lineal argument. We
could read it as we choose. After read it I have made a selection of different
places where he goes and I have analyzed them from my point of view. Here we
have a man who is walking around and in each place he
reminds why is it important and the person who is related with this feeling. He
tries to transmit emotion, tenderﾉ At the end of the story when he comes back
to the hotel room he writes in a diary every moment and emption he has
experimented. Every place he goes is a new emotion; sensation for him and each
place is connected with a different important moment or person in his life.
