One of the
first places where he appears is the hotel room
and here is where he will start to dream. The garden
is the second one. Here the author makes a similitude with flowers-mind and he
uses the train to make a metaphor. Then the cafe will be
the next place. In that case the problem of language is very important because
by means to language we can communicate and there the protagonist is feeling
alone as a consequence of that difference in language. After being in the café
he goes out and walk along the street where he finds
out that everyone is out of his houses something is happening. But the most
intense moment during that story is in the bathroom.
Here he has a meeting with a woman. She is a special woman for him because she
will be his present because of his birthday. Once more he is in the street but now he finds a man who is able to talk in
English and that is an important point. Another moment during this hypertext is
when he visits a museum. There he remembers the time
where he was in a museum with a friend. But church is
one of my favorites places where he goes because he is full if inner trouble
and there he exposes them at first time. He will know more about this character
that we only meet in an external way not with a deep sense. Graveyard is the next place. Here he is amazed at the
concept people have about this place. It is used as a place for celebrations. Dining room, main
street and restaurant are the next
places visited for him. Finally hotel room is where
the story ends. We could consider that the story is circular but it depends on
everyone because as a hypertext you can choose your own path. This in my point
of view about the story and I know that is not the only one but the advantage
of the hypertext is the open possibilities it gives.
