 CENTURIES XIX AND XX

Subject : # 14217 Poesía Inglesa de los siglos XIX y XX          Grupo A

Student´s name : Martín Cuello, MªÁngeles.

Title of the paper : Lord Byron, a  romantic melancholic poet

Author or topic :      Lord Byron, The Tear.

Abstract : This paper is about Byron's poem The Tear. I have analysed and I have commented this poem in my own words. Furthermore, I have put the poem in relation with the rest of the poet's poetic production (his complete works), with the society and historical moment it was written or published and with today's relation. The poem is about the affective relationships and feelings in general, but specifically it is about Lord Byron’s feeling of love and melancholy. Byron shows in this poem, in my opinion, the true meaning of the tear (it is the culmination of the truest feeling).I can say that this poem expresses the basic aim of the Romanticism.

Title of the paper : The influence of Lord Byron in Robert Browning (A fusion of Neoclassical and Romantic ideals and attitudes)

Author or topic : George Gordon, Lord Byron - Robert Browning

Abstract : To make my comparative analysis of the Romantic Period and the Victorian Era I choose the poets; Lord Byron and Robert Browning and their respective poems Remind Me Not, Remind Me Not and The Last Ride Together. After analysing their poems I  will introduce the poet and I will compare their poetic works and their poetic style.

Auto-evaluation: In my opinion, I believe that I should have about 6 or 7 since I have done all papers, all quizzs, and the tests. I know that my papers are not the best but I have done my best and I have taken all my interest in do it.
