- Mirrors are so undependable
–
Clara is a Gifford’s employee and more than this, she feels that is a
friend of the family.
One day, she
goes to a Department Store, she is inside the changing room trying on a dress
when she realizes that the mirror does not reflect her but everything around
her.
She feels that
the mirror is defective and tells it to a shop assistant.
Having gone
from the shop, she discovers that anything can reflect her and comes back to
the office because her employer is maybe looking for her.
When she
arrives at the office, she reads a note that Gifford
has written for her.
While she is
going, thinks about all the interpretations of the note; finally, she arrives,
opens the door and talks to Gifford, who has hung a
mirror on the wall.
She checks
that she is not reflected by the mirror, again. She is angry with Gifford, but he turns around and discovers the truth, there is
no Clara, but another strange woman appears.
Clara admits that this woman is she, and reacts breaking the
mirror in lots of pieces.
She starts
bleeding and takes a piece of glass, where her eyebrow was.
Finally, she
escapes and when she turns her face, Gifford
is not there, only a shine.
