OBJECTIVES:

I would like to develop my skills in the field of artificial intelligence and computational linguistics

ARCHIVE: EDUCATION AND PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE:

2008 [education]	In Octouber 2008, I start a PhD in computational linguistics at Trinity College of Dublin under the supervision of Dr Martin Emms . at CNGL group
2007-08 [education]	From 2007, I was involved in an artificial life project in the Computational Biology Group in the Department of Genetics and Marine Biotechnology at the Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences in Poland, under the supervision of Dr Borys Wróbel. 2007 [work]	8 months at the company Arisnova (Valencia): work with 3D studio, C++, development of projects for the Spanish navy)
2007 [education]	In 2007 I have continued my degree of Computer Science at the (Spanish) National University for Distance Education ( UNED, www.uned.es), which enables me to work on an a project on artificial life in the Computational Biology Group in the Department of Genetics and Marine Biotechnology at the Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences in Poland
2006-07 [education]	In 2006 I have spent the first semester at the Polytechnic University of Madrid with a Seneca scholar ship.
2005-06 [education]	I have been an Erasmus student at the University of Hertfordshire (Hatfield, UK, www.herts.ac.uk) , and have taken all the modules of the MSc program in Artificial Intelligence. My master thesis project was about finding transcriptional factor binding sites in the genomic DNA using SVM (Support Vector Machines) the thesis also participaticipate in 'certamen arquimedes' (spain) [you can find the spanish version at my web page]
2004 [education]	At this moment of time I started to become interested in biology and have taken a module in biochemistry.
2003 [work]	2 months at the company Integralia-RCI (Valencia): work with PHP and SQL in a large project team to create solutions for their clients, maintenance of the company website)
2003 [education]	I did an additional course of programming languages (Java, C++, HTML, PHP, Perl, My SQL) in Linux environment (300 hours).
2002-03 [education]	I started to study Computer Science (Ingenieria Informatica) in 2002 and Telecommunication (Telematica) in 2003 at the University of Valencia E.G. (www.uv.es)

In 2002-2005 I participated in 'Intelec' (one of the student syndicates) and I have been its representative in the faculty meetings of the School of Engineering and other governing bodies of the university, including the body that was involved in the implementation of the European convergence reform in the School of Engineering
