Profile

Was born on 1980 May 24 and grew up in Alfarrasí (Valencia, Spain). Degree in Physics at the University of Valencia in year 2003. Awarded for his teaching and outreach projects on Physics and Astronomy (see CV). PhD. at the University of Valencia (Unanimus Cum Laude) on 2008 July 28, under the supervision of Prof. Jon Marcaide. Postdoctoral fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the Max-Planck-Institute for Radioastronomy (MPIfR) in Bonn (Germany), from February 2009 to January 2011. Postdoctoral MPI researcher at the MPIfR from February 2011 to September 2011. Staff astronomer at the Onsala Space Observatory (Sweden), in the Nordic ALMA Regional Centre Node, from the end of September 2011 to September 2018. Astronomer at Observatorio de Yebes (Centro de Desarrollos Tecnológicos, Instituto Geográfico Nacional) from December 2018 to May 2019. Principal Investigator (PI) of an Excellence Research Project from Generalitat Valenciana (GenT), from June 2019 to date.


MAIN RESEARCH FIELDS: VLBI (from cm to mm wavelengths), advanced interferometry techniques, polarimetry, high-precision astrometry, radiosupernovae, Active Galactic Nuclei. VLTI (stellar atmospheres), ALMA.
