I   VOTED        I VOTED

This story is in the section CRIMINAL. It is about the American elections by the time Clinton was elected president. Particularly, what Derek Powazek is narrating is his own decision, his vote, how he felt about it in that moment and what he feels now.

But this is only the plot and the most important thing here is the interactivity created betweenthe author and the readers because Powazek has tried once again to create a whole story, which is made with stories from different people based upon the same theme, that allows the designing of a little community space on the net. This is his real aim and he gets it because a lot of people has sent their own experiences abut those elections and their writings about voting to this site. Thus, it has been created a little community around this topic.

The fact that this story has been included in the CRIMINAL section is maybe due to the fact that the action of voting implies a personal decision, the capacity to choose anything relevent for a society and important for everybody; and this section is about stories about times that test your faith. And voting implies testing your faith (according to Powazek's own story).

The structure of this hypertext is quite simple because it only has got two links placed at the end in order to being able to continue with the story. But it is also complicated from the point of view that it has been built up thanks to the personal stories of many people who answered the invitation of the author (a common item in Powazek's stories in this magazine).
