Peter Howard studied Physics and Philosophy at Oxford, and is a
Telecommunications Systems Design Consultant. His poetry credits include Poetry
Review, The Rialto, The Independent, The Faber Book of Christmas, the
OxfordPoets 2001 anthology, and Channel 4 Television. Low Probability of
Racoons appeared in 1994. He won second prize in the 2000 Arvon competition.
For five years he wrote a quarterly Internet column for Poetry Review. He has
animated poems on websites including Snakeskin, Beehive, The Poetry Kit,
Eclectica, Boomerang, and the BBC site. Peter teaches Animated Poetry in Flash
for the trAce Writing School. He is a member of the live poetry group The Joy
of Six.
