“8 Minutes” shows us the style of life of a young people´s group. Sara and Arthur, Rachel and Ned, Bea and Sean are three couples trying to live in a difficult world in a chaotic and disorientate way. But they do not mind, they do not want to change their behaviour. Sara and Arthur live together in a really messy and dirty house, although Sara´s mother taught her very good manners, she never applied it. The conversations between them are shallow and without any sense, and let you see that they do not have much brain. Sometimes, some conversations can be really shocking and unpleasant. The girls speak about prostitution, and they even let us to see that they would be able to do it; I just can´t drum up a strong feeling about prostitution or; We could send out appointment cards: It´s time for your fuck! .The girls speak as well about marriage; Marriage is the enslavement of women. It is not very difficult to understand their conversation; they speak about the problems of every day in a language used in the street. The boys speak about food, and show a bit interest about their health; It stays glued to your arteries, it wraps around your heart. All of them go one day to a computer awards in a Former Fed Ex weighing station where they have dinner .The girls talk again about marriage and an old story about it. It shows a small preoccupation. Finally, we can see how important is for them have free time; It´s just that we work just enough and no more. We like our free time.
