CONCLUSION
I would like
to say that it has been a wonderful experience Reading a hypertext. At first, I
got a bit lost in it because hypertextual world was
“new” to me, but when I read it again and again to build up my analysis I found
it very interesting.
As I said in
my analysis, “Same Day Test” is a simple hypertext because it seems to behave
in a linear way and it is simple to be understood; that’s why I would recommend
this hypertext for those people who want to start reading new things. The
hypertext consists in the passing of time while waiting an important thing, in
this case, the result of a HIV test.
We can say that “Same Day Test” hypertext may
have two meanings: that related to AIDS and the risks we are exposed to; and a
kind of metaphor, because it might extend to all those risky situations we do
not think about.
I think this
is the best way I can define the hypertext: a diary of Tom’s thoughts and feelings.
