The
story begins with a description of her bed of what is happening, what
she sees and how she is feeling in that moment. There's tension and
suspense because Anna, the main character, suddenly speaks out: "There is someone in my room" ,
in that moment we realise she is scared, and something is going
wrong.This strange presence is going to be the main theme that involves
the whole plot.
Anna, explains she has strange dreams she do not understand
and suspects this occurs because a kind of presence she cannot see
but feel, is watching over her. Thereby she calls a medium to find out
who or what that entity is. Anna's grandmother was who watchcd over her
through dreams with the purpose of advicing her about boyfriends and to
protect her from loving relations. Under the circumstances, the medium
also told her that her grandmother stepped in her relations with men
thus she though her granddaughter wasn't totally prepared and those men
weren't adequate.
Whereas time passes, an older and mature Anna stops being scared of
that entity. In the moment in which she accepts it, a new loving
relation appears in her life. But as her grandmother adviced her,
Fungai (Anna's boyfriend) lied . He had a family, and after feeling
herself so low, she understood her grandmother only wanted the
best for her . Since then, she never wanted to leave her grandmother
and waited for her in dreams.
