INTRODUCTION
This was the first time I was reading hypertext, so
everything indicated it was going to be a new challenge. In this Narrative
course I never expected that we were going to work with the Internet. It came as
a surprise to me that we were going to read literature through the Internet.
Hypertext… What is that? -I asked myself.
Well, hypertext is text that is not constrained to be
linear, which contains links to other texts; it can include graphics, video and
sound … it seemed interesting.
For my second paper I decided to read Milorad’s Pavic hypertext The Glass Snail.
I chose this author because it wasn’t selected yet and it also attracted me the
title, the length of the story and its mysterious touch.
I start my reading and from the very beginning I get
hooked into the story. I used my blog
to write down notes and in order to organise my paper, but it is only a rough
draft. For me, the argument
was a bit confusing but in the end I understood it.
I decided to include the author’s biography, because
it may be interesting to know things about the author and his way of writing.
It was a pity that I couldn’t communicate with him by email; he didn’t reply me
so I desist.
The aspect I had to develop is space; so I decided to give my
paper the title Space through The Glass
Snail. I’ll present you a list of the chapters and their space references.
To end with, I will show you my conclusion of this paper
where I show my personal opinion of doing this work.
