Title of
the paper : “Struggling between
the real
world and the imaginative world”
Author or
topic : "John
Keats: Ode to a Nightingale"
Abstract
:
This paper
is based on the poem “Ode to a Nightingale” by John Keats, one of the
Big Six
writers of the Romantic period. This is one of his major works where he
struggles between the real world and the ideal world. In this poem, he
is
trying to escape from the real world. So, the important themes in this
poem
would be nature and mortality. Through nature, by listening to a
nightingale
singing he thinks that death is one way to escape from this world.
Keats works
achieved success after he died, even though he did not expect it. He
thought he
would not be remembered.
Auto-
evaluation: I think I have achieved
the purpose
of this paper, although poetry for me is quite difficult. I find it
difficult
to understand, but, by reading the life of the author and relating his
works to
the historical and social context, I have been able to understand his
poem and
to produce a paper.
