Man

Abstract : There have always been stereotypes about how men should behave in
order to be considered as “real men”. These stereotypes vary from one period to
another and from one culture to another. My aim in this second paper is to
analyse Sonya Rapoport´s
hypertext Make
me a Man according to the space.
The hypertext analyses the male behaviour along the history and from the point
of view of different cultures. Such point of view differs from one culture to
another since some of them have a more radical view, but all of them share the
same general idea that a man has to behave as such, avoiding any kind of
weakness. I also include an introduction
were I resume the general idea of the work. Finally you can find a conclusion by clicking in
the link, which contains my personal opinion.
Auto-evaluation: Fortunately,
this second paper has been a little bit less hard than the first one because
little by little I´m feeling a bit more relaxed when working with the PC,
although it has also been hard work, therefore, I
think I would deserve a 7.
