Abstract : This website has been created to offer some information about authors of the English narrative from the 18th century. If we focus on this part of the task, which we shall call First Paper, we will be concentrating on presenting a certain amount of information about Samuel Richardson, a famous author English novelist.

We will pay attention to the development of the most important books written by the author. In addition to this, we will make every effort to compile and present translations ofthis writers main works. Finally, a series of photos of the author himself has been attached to the site, as we feel that it would be interesting to provide you with an opportunity to know this author, whose work has been highly appreciated but seldom translated, in the visual sense.

Auto-evaluatIon: With regard to my self-appraisal, I feel that my mark for the First Paper should be a high one, as not only has it involved a considerable effort, especially having for learn how to create a website, but it has produced very satisfying results indeed. Furthermore, I recognize that the aspect which has been most difficult of all has been to obtain information about Samuel Richardson. As I mentioned previously, this has been due to the fact that his work has rarely been translated, which leads us to believe that he is not a very well know author. It has also been rather difficult for me to manage to present all of the website´s images and photographs in such a way that readers can see them.
